For our dynamic and creative Project Controls Team based in Karlsruhe, we are looking for a full-time (40 hours/week) Cost Controller (m/f/d).

Your mission

  • You will plan and organize the setup of project baseline data, perform variance analyses between planned, actual, and forecast data, and take responsibility for forecasting, recasting, and reporting.
  • You will determine project progress using the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) while applying the Rules of Credit (RoC).
  • You will monitor contractors and contracts and support their management and tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
  • You will actively contribute to change and risk management, identify risks and project changes, and support their assessment and follow-up.
  • You will be responsible for tracking relevant key quantities as well as staffing and workforce planning and conducting related variance analyses.
  • You will develop measures and recommendations to optimize project performance and take responsibility for implementing relevant management systems within your area of responsibility.

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma degree (TH/FH/TU) in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study.
  • You possess a solid understanding of common project management standards and methodologies, such as PMI or IPMA, and confidently apply Earned Value Analysis in practice.
  • You have very good knowledge of the SAP modules CO, FI, MM, SD, and BW/HANA and use them confidently in a project environment.
  • You bring 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in the oil and gas, mining, chemical, or renewable energy industries.
  • You stand out through strong analytical thinking, a structured and independent working style, as well as team spirit and excellent communication skills.
